Surprise Surprise!

The Baily family got the biggest surprise in the world on September 18th, 2011
Well, I can't say I didn't have my suspicions by the first week of September, but until I was 8 weeks! I got negative tests. So this blog is to record what is to come for us as grow and learn how to deal with pregnancy, parenthood, and juggling everything else... There may be some real juggling going on here!

I can honestly say that I lived in "la-la-land" before this. I thought pregnancy was going to be easy, I'm just going to get bigger. I may throw up sometimes, but I'm going to love it and it's going to be great. We'll let me tell you I've had my wake-up call! But as I am nearing my second trimester, here in 2 weeks, I'm thinking I'm starting to feel a little better. (Knock on wood!) I don't want to speak too fast but the last few days after my morning purge I've been feeling ok.

And feeling better is a good thing because I've ignored the dishes for 2 weeks now! Every single time I walked into the kitchen I lost it. Which is terrible because the smell of dirty dishes only gets worse the longer you leave them! But this morning I was able to do most of them, and after this short break I'm taking, I will finish them. And that is a relief to say the least.

Since I am only 12 weeks right now I am not going to post belly pictures, because unlike those tiny women who get those cute little bumps, I haven't changed much... maybe just wider ;-)

On November 8th is my first doctors appointment. I was told by the Women's clinic in Burley (very rudely) that "[of course stupid] Our doctor does not start seeing patience until they are AT LEAST 12 weeks pregnant [duh!]" I inferred the words in the brackets. And since I'm moving back to Rexburg in the next weeks or so, I figured I'd just wait and have all of my appointments there. Come to find out when I made my appointment (when my mom called and made it for me) they like to get their first Ultrasounds in between weeks 8-10.

I'm sure you can imagine how irked I was when I found that out. Stupid Burley Women's clinic! I don't need you! Oh well, it's all in the past now so I just cannot wait for my very first Ultrasound on the 8th! And when I get the pictures I will get them posted asap. I may not have internet for a while though, since Daniel and I will have to be paying for it ourselves. Oh well. Until there is more news!
